EEEK!

(I need help!)

So you need some help with this set of scripts.

I don't know where to start!

Society has devided you into two classes. Those that get beds and those that sleep on the floor. In other words, there are Drivers and there are Riders. Drivers are those with cars, willing to schlep other people up to the mountains and go on beer runs at their whim. Riders are those who donate gas money, beg to be taken places, and worship the ground the Drivers walk on. Only You can decide into which class you fall.

OK, I'm cool. I want to drive my car (or one I recently stole) up to the mountains.

Allright. Go back to the first page, and click on the "Driver" button.

I am too lazy to drive my car / want to save the environment. I want a ride.

Great. We'll do just fine. Don't feel bad. Go to the first page and click on the "Rider" button.

Nobody is driving when I want to go up!

Tough Shit. :) Ask around, see if someone can change the time they're going, etc. It's probably best to take this into the real world if it's getting near time to leave. Go back to the first page, click on the Riders button, find the car that's leaving closest to when you want to go, and call up the driver and the riders and see if they can change.

What about my car do you want me to describe?

This field lets people see something about what they're getting themselves into. For example, if I saw a bug with 3 peolpe, I might decide not to take it. My car would be "Blue Subaru loyale station wagon."

How many passengers should I mark?

Passengers are the people that are not you that will be riding in your car. The standard sedan should put 4: three in the back and one in the front (and the driver, then, would make 5). Smaller cars should put in 3. Suburbans can put in 8. If you already have someone in your car, just sign them up as a rider.

I can fit many skiis in my car, but I don't have a ski rack. Should I click Ski Rack anyways?

No, you shouldn't. This is both for the ride up, but also for going to and from the mountain. It's useful to know how many people have ski racks.

My car has / doesn't have four wheel drive. Why are you asking?

When there's snow up there, having four or all wheel drive both makes you safer, and lets you not put on chains. It REALLY makes a difference, in any weather. I highly recommend we take all four wheelers before any two-wheelers.

I don't know when I'll be returning.

That's ok, just guess. The point of the time leaving / returning fields are mostly for people that are leaving thursday vs. friday, or sunday morning vs. sunday evening. Just put something reasonable down.
